I just wanted to share my own experience with you regarding some ear correction surgery I recently had carried out by Adam and his excellent team. I am absolutely thrilled with the result and can’t speak highly enough of the whole process from start to finish. The surgery was quick, Uber efficient and painless and the aftercare exceptional. I am extremely grateful to Mr Kirkby-Bott and everyone at the Spire Hospital in Southampton for managing to arrange an urgent operation for my hernia. It had become very painful and was preventing my ability to work, so it was with a great sense of relief when I received news of a date for my operation. From my initial consultation through to discharge from the Spire Hospital in Southampton, the level of care and professionalism was exceptional. I felt reassured at every point and followed the thorough preparations laid out before my admission. The staff and facilities at the Spire Hospital are exceptional. I felt in the safest hands and the experience from reception through to operating theatre was seemless in its delivery of the highest quality of care. I was able to be discharged shortly after my operation after a further consultation with Mr Kirky-Bott and I found this to be of great benefit. I really can't thank or praise the whole team enough. It has had a life-changing positive effect for me and enabled me to continue helping others through my volunteering efforts during the COVID pandemic. I am eternally grateful. I've been using Spire Southampton hospital for years for outpatients tests, consultations and physio. Staff is good. Consultants are good but few. Sometimes it takes weeks to book an appointment with a consultant. My two biggest complaints are: it takes for ever for blood tests results to arrive and it's almost impossible to find imaging or physio teams on the phone as they never answer. I've raised a formal complaint about this situation. Other than that it's the only private hospital in Southampton anyway so there is no competition (maybe only the Nuffield hospital in Chandler's Ford which is even worse in waiting/respond times).

The whole team were caring and considerate. This hospital is a little older so maybe not as pristine as others but the care was fantastic.

The nursing staff were uninformed about my condition and appeared scared of Mr Brooke. He spoke rudely to his registrar and was never available.

Excellent hospital, excellent team and although I am happy to never go again, if I had to, I would feel very reassured by the prospect of the Spire Southampton.
